Your Library Is Going Places!
Buy a Brick, Build a Library
Bricks are still available for installation in the Spring 2020.
The order form for Adopt-A-Brick is available here.
After years of careful planning, community input and phased construction, the new, enhanced Claverack Free Library and community center is now open and in full operation at the repurposed former A.B Shaw Firehouse (9 Route 9H Claverack, NY). So much more than a place to lend books, this new library center will connect our community through a vast range of cultural, educational and social events and occasions.
For each contribution of $100, a brick will be inscribed as you direct, with proceeds to go to the children’s room at the new library. Bricks will be placed along the sidewalk of the main entrance to assure that your family, friends and loved ones have a lasting presence at the new Claverack Free Library and community center. Makes a great gift!
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the library.
